Premier coeur artificiel total : il y a 30 ans déjà.

Le 13 avril 1986, le Professeur Cabrol, posait dans son service à l’hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière (AP-HP), pour la première fois en Europe, un cœur artificiel total : le Jarvik 7. Son équipe avait déjà réalisé la première transplantation cardiaque en Europe 18 ans auparavant, le 27 avril 1968.
